Balancing School and Extra Circulars

Ever wonder how to balance school and extra circular activities? Today I'm going to share my tips and tricks to staying on top of school while still having a life! I do school anywhere for 6 to 12 hours a day which is a crazy amount. So how do I stay motivated and finish all of my school each week? I see what I was doing wrong in the beginning and now I know how to have a super productive day. Getting up at 5:00am seems crazy but believe me, it's totally worth it! If you've tried to get up early before and failed miserably, here are some tips;

1. Put your phone across the room! It may seem simple but this tactic works wonders, having your phone charging on a wall opposite your bed helps tremendously the distraction of your phone before bed is gone and if you set your alarm on your phone you have to pull yourself out of bed in order to turn it off.

2. Don't get up if you didn't sleep the night before. You are totally going to hinder your effectiveness if you didn't sleep, try to at least get 7-9 hours. Not only will this increase your productivity but you will also find it easier and easier to get up.

3. Have a schedule. This is simple know exactly what you want to do each day, write it out on paper NOT your phone. You can get so easily distracted if you need todo something on your phone and you get a notification to literally anything.

4. Stick with it. If at first you don't succeed try, try again. It's oh so important that you keep this up, if you quit after the first day, your efforts will all be in vain. If you continue you will see the value that time has and how productive you can be throughout the day.

Waking up early gave me so much more time later in the day to do the thing I enjoy, and of course have time for extra circulars!

I hope you enjoyed this post although it's quite short. Have a great rest of your day!
